The Hawkins County Imagination Library is funded in part by the Governor’s Books From Birth Foundation, and through the generosity of local sponsors and caring residents. A donation of $1500 provides books for ALL Hawkins County children enrolled in the program for one month, and a donation of $15 can provide books for one child for an entire year.
As part of its program of community support, AT&T made a contribution of $3,000 to the Hawkins County Imagination Library. The gift supports a program designed to help foster a love of reading among Hawkins County preschool children and their families. "It is important to provide our children with a solid foundation for learning so they can meet the high standards needed to succeed in the global workforce," said Alan Hill, AT&T Regional Director. "AT&T is committed to supporting education initiatives in communities across Tennessee and we’re proud to support this program.
